Real Estate Learnership Portal

The Real Estate Post Learnership Portal is a PPRA national post-training support online platform created to bridge the gap between real estate training and meaningful market participation.

Across South Africa, many learners complete accredited real estate training but struggle to transition into employment, workplace exposure, internships, candidate property practitioner opportunities, or independent practice. Qualifications are an important first step, but they do not automatically guarantee market entry, placement, mentorship, compliance support or sustainable income. This portal was developed to support that critical transition.

The platform connects newly trained and qualified real estate learners with employers, estate agencies, property businesses and industry stakeholders who are able to provide workplace opportunities, internships, practical exposure, entry-level roles and professional development pathways.

Our goal is to help convert training outcomes into real economic participation, sustainable livelihoods and a stronger, more inclusive property sector.

Why this Platform Exists

The real estate sector remains one of South Africa’s most important economic sectors, but market entry can be difficult for newly trained practitioners, particularly youth, women, previously disadvantaged individuals and first-time entrants into the profession.

Many graduates face barriers such as limited access to employers, lack of practical exposure, limited mentorship, compliance challenges, lack of business support and uncertainty about how to begin a professional career in real estate.

The portal responds to these challenges by providing a central, accessible and technology-enabled placement platform where learners can be visible to the market and employers can identify suitable candidates for opportunities.

The attached Post Training Support proposal highlights that post-training support is essential to prevent skills loss, enable economic participation, accelerate transformation and strengthen compliance in the real estate sector.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to ensure that learners are not left unsupported after completing training. The platform serves as a practical exit and transition mechanism for real estate training programmes by helping learners move from qualification to workplace exposure, compliant practice, employment, entrepreneurship and long-term participation in the sector.

The broader Post Training Support approach is designed to support economic participation, prevent attrition and skills loss, accelerate transformation, and strengthen compliance and consumer protection through structured support.

Our Commitment

We are committed to building a practical, accessible and credible platform that supports learners, employers and programme administrators.

Through this portal, we aim to protect training investment, reduce post-training unemployment, support compliant market entry, strengthen employer access to trained candidates and help more South Africans build sustainable careers and businesses in real estate.

The PPRA Real Estate Learnership Portal is more than a job board. It is a national bridge between training, placement, professional growth and economic opportunity in South Africa’s property sector.
